Don’t

  • Explain what you would do if you were “The Boss”.
  • Complain about office issues.
  • Critique the holiday party itself.

 

Do

  • Listen as much as speak.
  • Be remembered for positive feedback rather than embarrassing situations.
  • Build relationships within your organization.
  • Talk about family, hobbies and movies.
  • Eat something before consuming alcohol.

 

These simple guidelines will help you avoid an embarrassing situation, especially for the day after.
