Remember to Care for Yourself During These Stressful Times
Most people have an idea of what would help them to reduce the stress in their lives; but few people actually take the time to do anything about it. One reason is time and the other is finances. As we head into, what the news media says is a recession, it is more important than ever for all of us to take time to take care of ourselves. When you find yourself saying “I just can’t”, ask yourself if you are really saying “I feel too guilty.” Many of us feel too guilty to take care of ourselves during financially stressful times. What we need to remember is that if we do not take care of ourselves, we cannot truly be there for our loved ones. Remember the rules on an airplane. You are told that in the case of an emergency; please put your oxygen mask on before helping your loved ones. Without your oxygen, how can you save and support your loved ones? So where do you find your oxygen? Where do you find the time and place to rejuvenate yourself in order to continue to perform all of the necessary, everyday activities that are required to support yourself and your loved ones?
What if you could have a few moments to escape and rejuvenate? What if you go somewhere, have a cup of tea and relax in a room away from all of the stress at work and home? A place where you could feel completely relaxed and it didn’t cost you a dime. An escape as free as the oxygen you breathe everyday in order to survive. A place of “Healing Energy” designed for anyone and everyone, no matter what spiritual or religious background you embrace. A place where you could simply relax, read a book, watch an inspirational movie or take time to meditate or pray. We think we have the answer.
